Image shows a house being built on Pecan and Mitchell by the UTA Construction Research Center. The image shows solar panels that are used on top of the house. The house, called the UTA Discovery '76 Solar House, will be first in Texas heated and cooled by solar energy, with part of the system being the 42 solar collectors on the roof at left. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 14, 1976.
