Kenneth Ray Blakey, 6, was excited but prpeared for work when he arrived at Lily B. Clayton Elementary School, 2000 Park Place. He was the only African-American to enroll in the formerly all-white school. Accompanying him is his mother, Mrs. Connie Blakey. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition September 4, 1963.
