Photo series on the completion of "Room 275" at the new Tarrant County Convention Center. Room 275 is hospitality suite owned and operated by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and staffed by its Women's Division and is a feminine retreat in the midst of the sleek her convention center. The room will be used to entertain Fort Worth visitors, furnishings were purchased with solicited donations. Fort Worth Hostesses Mrs. Roy L. Hiser, Mrs. Roy McDermott, Mrs. Helen Lee, Mrs. Harry K. Werst, and Mrs. Lucille Bishop Smith, left to right, helped plan Room 275. Members of the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce realized the need for such a place at about the time plans for a new convention center were announced. The connection was a logical one with regard to the C of C's aim to "show and sell Fort Worth."
