Description
A group of children at the 1968 Cub Scout Olympics, held by the Woodbine Trail District Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts, holding flags and various trophies. The event was held in Harmon Recreation Center in Fort Worth and was attended by about 100 Cub and Boy Scouts. Pictured across the bottom row are members of Cub Scout Pack 231, represented by Kirkpatrick Elementary school students Dale Brown, 10, Anthony Earle, 9, and Marcus Jones, 9, who were winners of the hula hoop race. Arbra King (top row, left), 10, won the bowling competition; Robert Knox (top row, right), 11, won the putting competition; and Brad Johnson (top row, center), 10, won the archery competition.
