Description
Jack Benny, right, wheeled from a soft violin passage to admonish percussionist Bill Magers, holding the cymbals, from departing from written score during rehearsal for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra's "Benny-Fit" concert. The musical adlibbing broke up Kenneth Schanewerk, left, concertmaster, while Ruth Poindexter, principal second violinist, consulted with her music sheet to try and find out what was happening.
