Description
Photo feature on women who work at General Dynamics. Mrs. B. W. Duke clips one of the many wires that form a harness, several wires connected to one plug. She assembles the wires on a slab of wood called a harness board. The harness will become the wiring system of an airplane. Since World War II women have held factory jobs once considered a man's work. More than 1,700 of the organization's 13,600 employees are women.
