Description
Superimposed on this aerial photo of the Fort Worth-Dallas Turnpike are the new entrance and exit ramps to be constructed at Beach and Oakland. The new facilities will enable motorists to use the western end of the turnpike without paying the 10-cent toll now charged between Oakland and downtown. Motorists desiring to continue eastward from the new Oakland exit will be able to do so by turning left on to Oakland and then right on to the service road on the north side of the turnpike. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 29, 1964.
