Description
The annual Book Fair sponsored by the Fort Worth Section of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) will open on April 18 in the mall at Seminary South. Bad weather did not prevent Mrs. Florence Cohn, left, or Mrs. Roz Rosenthal from collecting books from Book Fair drops on their appointed early rounds. Bundled against the elements, they empty the book drops frequently to stock the shelves for the forthcoming sale. Mrs. Rosenthal is seen sitting on top of an oil drum that was repurposed into a "book barrel," where readers deposited used books and record albums sold at the book fair.
