Description

John A. Hudson, library director at Arlington State College, puts books on shelves in the college's new library. The clipping reads, "The $1,500,000 library has been completed for about two months but furniture has been late in arriving. This caused a slight delay in the gigantic book move. Hudson said the library is worth waiting for, though. The basement floor of the library will contain advanced audio-visual equipment supervised by Jimmy West, and also bound periodicals and offices. Main facilities on the first floor will be the reference and circulation departments, government publications, and current periodicals. On the second floor the main collection of books will be housed. Student lounge areas will be included on each floor. The building is designed so that three floors can be added when needed."
