    Description

President John Kennedy was presented a Washer Bros. branded Stetson Open Road hat by Raymond Buck, president of Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. Kennedy asked Buck to try on the hat presented to him and they are both seen laughing. This photograph was taken at the Hotel Texas during a breakfast event for the President hosted by the Fort Worth Chamber of Congress held the morning of November 22, 1963. The president then flew from Fort Worth to Love Field in Dallas, Texas. The President is holding the hat he just received from Mr. Buck, who is standing at a podium. The Presidential seal is affixed to the podium. Behind the podium is a Chamber of Commerce sign. Both men are wearing suits.
