Description

Emergency crews and firemen spray foam on the wreckage of a B-58 Hustler after the jet bomber crashed on takeoff at Carswell Air Force Base. The plane failed to become airborne on its northbound takeoff attempt, veered, crashed into a fence, and stopped on an ammunition bunker. All three crewmen were killed.
