Description

Senator John F. Kennedy speaks on top of a convertible, with Senator Lyndon B. Johnson to the left, to an estimated 1,500 people gathered along the campaign route through Grand Prairie as the two Democratic running mates move eastward towards Dallas after the rally in Fort Worth's Burnett Park. Johnson and Kennedy were on a political campaign through Texas with stops in Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Dallas. Visible businesses in the background include J. C. Penney's Woolworth's, Sherwin-Williams Paints, Wings.
