U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Colvin Boone is pictured at center with his rifle pointing upwards. This was taken during Operation Double Eagle, a U.S. Marine Corps and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) operation that took place in southern Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam, during the Vietnam War.
