Clerihew, a forward air controller, directed F100 fighter planes to suspected Viet Cong positions near Coa Long in the Kien Phong Province of South Vietnam, shown here blanketed with exploding bombs, during the Vietnam War. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition, March 3, 1966.
