Plans were announced to telecast in color the crowning of Miss Texas at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. On hand for the announcement were, left to right, John Giordano, musical director for the Miss Texas Pageant; Walter Echols, pageant producer; Hubert G. Foster, music and scholarship committee chairman for the pageant, and George Cavalier, Miss America Pageant producer. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition February 8, 1966.
