William M. Sherk, left, Carling Brewing Company brewmaster here, examines one of Carling's new tab-cap crown top 12-ounce bottles with O. I. Powell of Cleveland, company vice president of engineering and production. About 30 brewers from eight plants in the United States and 14 in Canada gathered at the new brewery at 7001 S. Freeway for an annual meeting. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition October 1, 1964.
