Melba Hobson designed this simple crepe dress with shirt sleeves and a softly lowered waistline which Montgomery Ward sold for $12.95. The company expected $1 million in orders for this dress. The gold-leafed necklace was designed by Luciana of Rome. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition May 24, 1964.
