Description
Miss Genevieve Haygood is dressed in a formal wedding gown of pure silk taffeta combined with lace which has been studded with seed pearls. The gown, by Bianchi, is styled with a scalloped scoop neckline and short, scalloped sleeves complemented by waist-length white kid gloves. Lace adorns the bouffant skirt which as a wind-swept back and circular court train. A cabbage rose and obi bow accented the back waistline. The pill-box hat of taffeta is appliqued with lace and the tiered illusion veil is bouffant. The attendant, represented by Miss Gunilla Hutton-Miller, is wearing a golden topaz dress of satin peau. The draped bodice has a scooped neckline and short sleeves. The envelope skirt is flat-paneled in front. Matching draped fabric forms the ring head piece.
