Pianist Michiko Fujinuma put her fingers through a feverish backstage drill before an appearance in the 1969 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at Texas Christian University's Ed Landreth Auditorium. Miss Fujinuma, 25, is one of 17 pianists competing in the contest. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition October 1, 1969.
