A. M. Pate Jr. and Mrs. Edward R. Hudson helped celebrate Fort Worth's 119th birthday at Heritage Hall. Pate is outgoing president of the Tarrant County Historical Society, Mrs. Hudson is the new president. Fort Worth began as a military post in 1849. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition June 7, 1968.
