Description
Riverside Junior High ninth grader Edgar Maning, right, recently was presented the school's E. Clyde Whitlock Music Award by Whitlock, retired music writer for the Star-Telegram. Edgar plays trumpet in the school band and orchestra, and plays in a combo called "The Dynamex." He also sings in the chorus. The award goes each year to the outstanding ninth grade music student.
