Description
John L. Lewis of 108 Westview was elected president of the Texas Boys' Choir during a called meeting of the board at Botanic Garden. Lewis was elected to succeed Dr. James N. Walker, who resigned "for reasons of health, necessitating curtailment of activities", a letter addressed to the board stated. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning edition June 30, 1960.
