Description
Image shows Van Williams, Arlington Heights, leaping over a low hurdle. He is on his way to a record breaking 22.6 in City high School Track Meet. Earlier he set a new mark at 14.8 in the high hurdles. He also ran the anchor lap on the Jackets' second place 440 yard relay team. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 14, 1951.
