The freshmen raised their flag, but the sophomore took it down and burned it, and that means Miss Mary McGee will be crowned queen of Texas Wesleyan College freshmen by Sophomore queen President Richard Phillips of Quanah. Ter of Criminal District Court Number 2 Judge Dave and Mrs. McGee, of Eagle Mountain Lake, will be crowned at a student assembly. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 2, 1951.
