Description
Billy Stripling, a charter member of the day camp at Amon Carter Youth Men Christian Association (YMCA), takes out the first resident camp membership in the YMCA's 1951 round-up, which opened. Raymond Suggs, camp director, makes the enrollment as Billy's mother, Mrs. W. K. Stripling Jr., looks on. Billy is a member of the Longhorns Gray-Y club on the West Side. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 2, 1951.
