Marine Private Officer David N. McGinnis was back in Fort Worth for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. S. McGinnis of 2733 Merida, after seven months of Korean combat. Since he was here last, New Year's Day 1950, the 18-year-old mortar gunner has acquired three combat ribbons with six battle stars. Presidential, Navy and Army unit citations. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 13, 1951.
