Spence, Big Spring, district manager, receives a check for $11,750,000 from John H. Brooks, trust officer of First National Bank of Fort Worth, the bond issue trustee. Standing from left to right, Paul Horton, Dallas, representing the district's bond attorneys; J. B. Thomas, Fort Worth, president of the Texas Electric Service Company and Marshall A. Fuller, president of First National Bank. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 10, 1951.
