Image shows three North Side High School bandsmen. From left to right, Jack Farlow, George Avinger and Jimmie Smith. They have been selected to play in a 120 member band directed by Paul Laval of Band of America. They will stage a exhibition at the Music Educators National Conference at Oklahoma March 7-11. The North Side High band director, Kenneth Vaughan (not shown) will accompany the students. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 7, 1951.
