Description
Pat was an independent Irish terrier who lived where he pleased. As a puppy he came to live with Dr. and Mrs. C. O. Terrell at 2621 Waits, but he soon found that he preferred visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur A. Cunningham at 2704 Lubbock, where he could hide under a bed when firecrackers or thunder scared him. 15 years later this had not changed. He would eat and sleep at the Cunninghams home, where he had his own bed on the pack porch and a private entrance, however, Dr. Terrell still paid the vet bills whenever Pat would tackle an adversary twice his size. Published in the evening edition, February 28, 1951.
