City Manager W. O. Jones, center, is shown as he officially opened General Electric Company's "More Power to America Special," a nine-car train exhibiting 2,000 items which use electric power, after being presented a key by L. B. Bass, right, Fort Worth manager for General Electric Company. A brief speech at the train opening was made by J. B. Thomas, left, president and general manager of Texas Electric Service Company. Published in the evening edition, February 16, 1951.
