Image shows Insurance executives. Lewis W. Douglas, former ambassador to Great Britain and board chairman of the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, center, formally opened an agency in Fort Worth in early February, 1951, received a Shady Oak hat from Amon Carter, as did each of the other company executives that were with him. Left to right, Vice President Clifford B. Reeves, Vice President Stanton Hale, Douglas, Executive Vice President Roger Hull, and Financial Vice President Oliver M. Whipple. Published in the morning edition, February 9, 1951.
