Description
This Shorthorn steer, bought by Burrus Feed Mills in Stock Show auction, was presented to 3-year-old Dennis Crowell, a polio patient, for the March of Dimes by Grady Jones, Burrus representative. Mrs. Hoyt Crowell, mother of Dennis, is shown here as is Joe Ben Koonce of Desdemona, who fed and showed the steer here. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 3, 1951.
