Description
Five Polytechnic basketball players pass part of a cold day by playing checkers. The Polytechnic Parrots have not played a game since the beginning of the year and the cold weather has caused postponements. Playing are Jimmy Scarborough, left, and Bob McQuitty. Looking on are Jerry Tinkle, Johnny Caruthers and Bob McCulloch. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 1, 1951.
