Grand champions of the livestock judging contest for senior agricultural colleges are these members and coach of the Iowa State College team from Ames, Iowa. Left to right, seated, Gaylord Joe Lyon, holding team sheep judging award; Vern Kerchberger, coach, holding grand championship award, and Bill Dubbert, holding team beef judging award. Standing, Dwight White, Bill Myers, Bob Myers and Dick Thompson. Thompson was the alternate team member. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 1, 1951.
