Image shows J. R. Burleson, Assistant District Attorney, 65, seated at office desk. He looked into 962 desertion cases last year and settled hundreds more without legal action. His job consists of settling disputes involving desertion and emphasizes on winning reconciliation for parted parents and getting the husband to pay child support. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 30, 1951.
