Meadow Gold, Angus steer owned by C. E. Yoder and Sons, Muscatine, Iowa, is grand champion of the 1951 Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Fort Worth, president Texas Aberdeen Angus Association; Cleo Yoder, C. E. Yoder, Show Vice president Ernest Allen and Tex Spitzer of Pleasant Plains Illinois, who showed the steer. McClung is presenting Cleo Yodery with a $1000 check because the winner was Angus. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 30, 1951.
