Description
This steer sold on the Fort Worth Stockyards for 23 cents a pound. Weighing in at 2170 pounds, the 4-year-old animal was one of the biggest finished steers seen here in years. It came off the Spade Ranch near Lubbock. Frank Chappell of the ranch is shown at the rear of the animal, and Charles Daggett, who sold him, also is in the picture. The steer lost about 200 pounds while being shown at the Stock Show. Amour & Company was buyer.
