Image shows from right to left, Lord and Lady Wakehurst studying Augustus John's portrait of George Bernard Shaw. This portrait is part of Queen Elizabeth's contribution to a British art exhibition at Texas Christian University's (TCU) Fine Arts Gallery. Lord Wakehurst is head of the British Speaking Union (ESU), that sponsored the exhibition to the United States. It was brought her by the Fort Worth ESU group and TCU. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 29, 1951.
