Image shows Dee Burk, holder of Madison Square Garden's calf roping record, riding on his horse, "Shoe stamp". Burk and the Palomino horse will compete in the event at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Burk lives on the C. Gordon Arnold Diamond A. Ranch near Bedford, formerly living in Comanche, Oklahoma. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 23, 1951.
