Welcoming his return is Brigadier General Clarence S. Irvine, right, commander of the 7th Bomb Wing and of Carswell Base. Left is Colonel John D. Roberts, deputy commander of the 11th Bomb Group. They are shown to be standing on air strip beside an air plane. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 22, 1951.
