More than 20 Fort Worth home builders departed on a Santa Fe special train for Chicago to attend their national convention. Saying farewells were these: foreground, left to right, William C. Carter, president of the Home Builders Association of Fort Worth and Joe Driskell, state president; background, left to right, Dan Fillingim, W. B. Todd and Mrs. Joe Driskell. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 20, 1951.
