Description
Ringing in new hope for those affected by polio, a peal of appeal for dimes was heard from the old fire bell at the City Hall at noon. Mrs. James Leonard, executive secretary of the Tarrant County Chapter of the National Foundation of Infantile Paralysis, and Rice Tilley, co-chairman of the March of Dimes campaign joined in opening he drive by sounding the bell.
