Description

This American saddle-bred stallion, Metro's King Variety, was raised in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, and trained by A. J. Skinner, shown at the left of the image. Skinner was a trainer at the W. N. McCorstin Stables. The stallion's owner was Mrs. Lee V. Stewart of Weslaco, Texas. Published in the morning edition, January 21, 1951.
