Description
C. R. Conner, 71, of 1211 1/2 Main, shows I. N. Mehl the chair he threatened a robber with, detaining the bandit until police arrived. The man had tried to hold up Mehl in his clothing store at 1215 Main. Conner had answered Mehl's call for aid. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 9, 1951.
