From these Our Lady of Victory beauties will come Fort Worth's 1951 Laneri Mardi Gras Queen. Left, to right, there are Jo Ann Vitasek, 20; Anne Simon, 18; and Peggy Scott, 19. A panel of three judges made the final selection but kept its decision a secret. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 4, 1951.
