City firemen trying to halt the spread of a grass fire call for volunteers. The fire burned an area of about two square miles just inside the southern city limits and about a half-mile west of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition January 1, 1951.
