Miss Jewel Evans resumed her studies at the University of Texas after spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Alden A. Evans, 4908 Dexter. While here, she was honored as a Chi Omega pledge at a luncheon given by Chi Omega alumnae. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 2, 1951.
