Image of Mrs. Richard D. Smith. She and Captain Richard D. Smith were married in the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Ashley, 2805 Ryan Pl Dr., by Reverend A. B. VanArsdale. Given in marriage by her brother, James W. Holder of Tulsa, the bridge wore a street-length dress of blue wool jersey decorated with white felt flowers and rhinestones. Her shoulder-length veil of brown lace fell from a tiara of pearlized orange blossoms, and she carried stephanotis on a white prayer book. Captain and Mrs. Smith will reside at 1919 Prevost. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 1, 1951.
