Description
David W. Thompson, 22, a former student of Technical High School admitted to writing an extortion letter to former principal, G. B. Trimble, as a way to extort money from him in the value of $2,000. Thompson entered a plea of guilty before United States commissioner Milam at his arraignment on charges of mailing threatening letters on December 19th. Thompson stated that he wrote the letter before he was upset at Trimble for "falsely accusing me of conspiracy against the school." Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 27, 1950.
