Description

Image of Private First Class Robert Young in his home. He has returned home for Christmas, PFC Young is 20-year old Marine that is now a Korean War veteran. On his way in retreat from the Chingjin reservoir to Hamhung, he suffered from frozen feet, so young was flown from the battle area to Hamhung on December 5th, then Japan, California and finally to the Navy hospital in Corpus Christi on December 19th. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 26, 1950.
